Rory translates to "moist with dew"

But you don't care

You just want to know:

That it's simple steps done quick.

In the shower. While the toothbrush dangles from your lips. Or while you watch Tiktoks on mute.

It’s the quickie before bed. To swipe onto skin as you tiptoe in the silence. It’s the something for yourself.

It’s a moment to feel like the you who you know.

You have but secs

Right now, bare min skin stuff is your limit.

Not morning and night. More: whatever time you can sneak away.

Pre-babe, your face was either a) not a focus, or b) treated to a 7 step Korean skin care routine (ok fancy).

Now, your skin feels like it's, well... not yours.

And even if you dabbled with belly oils, balms and creams - this new babe brought with it a new complexion too.

The 60-sec routine
  • Step 1

    Night Shift Cleanser

  • Step 2

    Look Alive Vitamin C Serum

  • Step 3

    Face Drink Moisturiser

This one time I put a can in the dishwasher

I was seven weeks postpartum. Delirious amidst the chaos of new motherhood. Starved of sleep. Trying to shower in less than 2 mins because the baby would sense it and cry.

Between rushed slurps of stone cold coffee and single scoops of room temperature oats - I did it:

I put a can in the dishwasher. But that's the summary of new motherhood, isn't it?

Trying and often missing. Smiling to swallow yawns. Searching for words. And things. And not quite finding either. Even forgetting you were looking in the first place.

So easy it's borderline lazy

As a new (chaos-infused) mum, I treasure my sacred solo shower time. There, I said it.

In this season, there's no time for my pre-babe self care go-tos (pilates, gigs, too much wine at lunchtime).

Face stuff has made my secs feel purposeful. A tiny victory with each step.

Why RORY Face Stuff?

I wanted pregnancy and breast-feeding safe skin care specifically formulated for my skin's new needs (and yours).

Without spending a squillion dollars or hours. Without animal products. Without mystery ingredients.

I also wanted to navigate motherhood together. You, me, all of us. The wild, raw, unhinged.

With our spew soaked shoulders and leaking bodies. Living in the night and cuddling up close.

We are RORY and we do roar.

Victory is yours (and oh yes, it roars)
